Who is Bertie?
Descended from a long line of fabric artists, I learned sewing, knitting and crocheting from my mother and grandmother. I turned my attention to quilting while working my first job at a New Hampshire fabrics store more than 20 years ago. As I began her professional career in the theater, I also began making wedding gifts and baby blankets for friends during my spare time. Over the last several years, I have married my two passions by creating the quilts for the Grandparents’ bed in Broadway’s production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and currently have quilted work featured in MJ the Musical, and Tina - the Tina Turner Musical’s national tour.
